EASTBOURNE — A man sitting in an Eastbourne pub has conclusively determined that the Moon landing was faked after conducting approximately seventeen minutes of independent research on his phone.

Dave, who would only reveal his first name because "they're probably listening", announced his findings to several people who had not asked at around 8.40pm.

"Think about it," he said, placing his pint down with considerable authority. "There's no wind on the Moon."

Nobody disagreed.

"Exactly. So why's the flag moving?"

A nearby customer attempted to explain the flag had a horizontal support and moved when astronauts handled it.

Dave stared at him suspiciously.

"You seem to know a lot about this."

Evidence Continues To Mount

Dave's investigation also uncovered photographs containing shadows, an astronaut apparently surviving in space and the suspicious fact that nobody can see stars in many lunar photographs.

He presented each discovery by turning his phone towards the table and saying:

"Explain that."

Explanations were provided.

They were rejected.

NASA Remains Suspiciously Silent

Dave claims he has now been discussing the conspiracy publicly for several years without receiving a single response from NASA.

"They've never contacted me," he said.

"Not once."

Barry Beakman pointed out that NASA may simply be unaware of Dave's existence.

"That's exactly what they want you to think."

Investigation Expands

By his third pint, Dave revealed the Moon landing was merely "the beginning."

He reportedly possesses significant information concerning pyramids, 5G, unidentified aircraft and "what they're putting in supermarket chicken."

His friend Steve confirmed Dave had not held any of these opinions when they arrived.

"He only came out to watch the football."

At closing time, Dave announced he would expose everything.

He then spent ten minutes looking for his glasses.

They were on his head.

The traditional democratic process, but with significantly less paperwork.
